Eat shrooms and play The Fractured but Whole.
Shrooms are the best way I have found to center myself and relieve stress long term. They almost should be mandatory for government service at the upper echelons.

I watch animated. Just started Justice League for probably the 20th time.
I enjoy things to the fullest extent and don't let being an "adult" hold me back. I'm still going to enjoy that waterslide.
I don't moderate my emotions and responses very well so the way I act could be seen as slightly immature. Sometimes I get very opinionated on things that don't seem like a big deal.
Go out dancing.
I'm in my late 40s, and have so many Doctor Who toys on desks and shelves.
My spouse is sweetly tolerant of the sheer quantity of TARDISes in our small apartment (which is, alas, not bigger on the inside) and has even gifted me some of them.
How many sonic screwdrivers have you built though? It could always be worse.
Am in my early 40s. And yet I do not have my shit together in any meaningful sense. With each passing decade that becomes less and less sexy.
