It's "funny" how Republicans have fought tooth and nail to ensure their constant lying and disinformation is considered protected speech...but cry foul every single time someone uses the truth to make them look bad.

The paradox of intolerance personified.

The ACLU defends a KKK march through downtown. Then the KKK takes power and suddenly its everyone from the ACLU lined up against a wall.

At some point, liberals have to recognize where to draw the fucking line. And if the line boxes in the Zohran Mamdanis for suggesting a publicly financed grocery store but gives a big thumbs up to running an ad to execute the Central Park Five, you get what you fucking voted for.

Luckily he won’t have to. Want your merger approved? You better not show that ad. Also, you better be selling to my billionaire friend.

What I don't get is, who the fuck are the people that have the power and means to stop this or the money involved thinking they're they're going to get long term benefits from this?

Authoritarianism doesn't work out for anyone period, especially those closest to it, including the authoritarian themselves.

The writing is on the wall, if you have been publically vocal against this regime, your days are numbered unless you act. Being scared of speaking out now is lost cause when you're already fucked. Unfuck yourself and unfuck millions of people. Not only would you continue living, your life would dramatically change for the better especially if you're a politician or politically adjacent and part of the "we saved democracy" crew.

The only thing I'm excited about is watching Republicans devour themselves thinking they're going to come out on top here. Other than that, this shit is disgusting.
