ALPR? I don't know the specific term but thats a cop cam thats powered by AI to detect undesirables, aka homeless and POC. Then if it finds them automatically deploys an alarm and tells people to disperse because they are obviously doing criminal activity, /s. Pittsburgh has been installing them for a few years. They may have fixed their programming because its been a while since I heard one go off but when they were newly installed the were always shouting at loiters who were waiting for buses and people camping in doorways on rainy days
