The individual referenced in your story is not an Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officer or a Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agent, and therefore is not an employee of ICE

Seems like their choosing their words a little too carefully. He's gotta be an ice employee, just not a part of their enforcement & removal operations.

This will probably come as rather shocking news to the now former ICE employees that were employed outside of those departments.

He's probably just from another federal agency being tasked to do immigration raids. Unless they have a very strong statement about what legitimate work they're up to and show their face and ID, they're all ICE.

If I was on a jury, and the teenager had run over the gunman, I would not convict on any crime. It's insane that Gerardo Rodriguez is allowed back on the streets.
