Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

[–] TigerAce@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 points 14 hours ago

Tell me Clay is in the Epstein files without telling me Clay is in the Epstein files

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 5 points 16 hours ago

before we jump to conclusions, were they present?

[–] Derpenheim@lemmy.zip 11 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Investigate them all, and lock them up if they are affiliated

[–] FisherOfSaints@lemmy.world 2 points 18 hours ago

I think Sherrill gets a pass. She’s busy with her transition.

"it injures thousands of ~~innocent people~~ Rich Donors!"

Fixed that for him. Whats the Repugnant mantra? If you have nothing to hide...

[–] Feathercrown@lemmy.world 1 points 7 hours ago

Yeah it won't injure them if they're actually innocent lmao

[–] But_my_mom_says_im_cool@lemmy.world 31 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

His defense of trying to protect the victims is bullshit when the victims are saying they want all the files out, so that their trauma is exposed to everyone. His “logic” is the opposite of what the victims want

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 14 points 22 hours ago

I mean, I was kinda reading between the lines there.

he's not worried about the victims. He's worried about the perpetrators who donate to him. who also happen to be not-victims.

Clay will be remembered but not in a good way.

[–] owenfromcanada@lemmy.ca 37 points 23 hours ago

He'll be remembered, likely because his name is written down somewhere conspicuous

Claytophile Higgins

[–] DaMummy@lemmy.world 13 points 23 hours ago

Such a brave act. He will be Barbara Lee of future generations.

[–] HootinNHollerin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 9 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

They should really look into this guy. Like below his floor boards

[–] tornavish@lemmy.cafe 5 points 22 hours ago

I’m sure it’s just all in his phone photos.

[–] Heikki2@lemmy.world 9 points 22 hours ago

Clay Higgins reasoning probably, "my parents named me Clay so I can be maliable and justify supporting a vast pedophile ring."

[–] muxika@lemmy.world 8 points 22 hours ago

He's the kind of guy with a browser history that literally smells.

[–] canitendtherabbits@lemmy.world 6 points 23 hours ago

He certainly looks like a ‘Clay Higgins’.

[–] Cruxifux@feddit.nl 4 points 22 hours ago

Only thing I like about Twitter is when I see shit like this I can immediately go there and call that person out for being a pedophilic piece of shit. They probably won’t read it but whatever. Makes me feel slightly better.

[–] QuantumTickle@lemmy.zip 3 points 22 hours ago

He's just pissed they replaced all instances of Trump's name with his. /s
