Those same people also had pensions for life once they retired in their 50s. They also didn't have to pay for health insurance.

I thought Magic Wands were used almost exclusively for holesome activities.

I saw an article somewhere that pointed out the Hallmark movie formula is targeted at empty nester moms with daughters. It's their fantasy that their daughter, who has left home to find fulfillment in a career will come back home and fall in love with a local boy, realize that moving to the city was a mistake, and settle down in their home town (near their mother).

Kinda sad when you realize that's why they're so successful.

I think it was Times New Roman before. So they rolled back, just for the sake of getting rid of Inclusion.

Renoir's battle theme is the best song I have ever heard in a video game before. For a while, my YouTube algorithm was taken over by streamer reactions to hearing that song for the first time in game, because universally people were just stunned like "holy shit this is amazing".

Yeah the game is just straight up amazing. I laughed because I saw an article about the streamer, Shroud, complaining about how Expedition 33 shouldn't have won because Arc Raiders was so great - but then admitted he hasn't played Expedition 33.

Hell yeah! Hope it plays like a modern KOTOR.

In that lady's defense, I'm pretty sure the opening scene of The Thing was intentionally written to make people go "what the fuck? why are they shooting at that dog?!"

Dammit. Now I'm gonna be noticing shit about Frequency Illusion for the next few weeks.

The Internet is so fucking weird sometimes. I had literally never heard of the 37% / Secretary Problem until this morning when someone else commented about it in a different thread. Then I immediately noticed it in this comic and saw your comment.

It's like when you never notice a car until you buy one and then see that same car everywhere.

I've noticed that most people are barely computer literate and don't understand when you try to explain the difference between something like a shortcut and computer virus.

I actually dodged a bullet like that myself once. I used SMTP to send an email with a spoofed "from" address and got accused of hacking into someone's email account. I lucked out that I got to plead my case with someone who understood networking.

Top sperm: I'm getting tired of swimming. Think we're almost to the egg?

Bottom sperm: Dude, we're in Trump's thrussy.

Fox News caption: BY WINNING, DEMOCRATS ARE ACTUALLY LOSING

There have been a lot of news articles lately about a concentrated movement to get people fired for making social media posts critical of Charlie Kirk. I'm wondering how effective such an effort would be against Lemmy, where many of us provided an email address when signing up.

Not being an admin, I'm curious if our email addresses tied to our users names are stored in a database that only the SJW admins can access - or if anyone creating their own instance would have access to the same database

I've been a loyal Trump supporter since 2016.

I lost a job, friendships, been smeared online, doxxed, and pressed charges on people who've stalked and harassed me for supporting him.

If Trump doesn't want my support, because I care about the Epstein Files, then I'm done.

Bye.
