Hello start of summer - heater is on โ๏ธ
same
I am resisting the urge.
omg, Ted loves watching the new Frankenstein movie ๐ป๐ง I'll get a pic

yes, he is floofy,
and it's late spring and I'm chasing him everywhere trying to brush his knots out, you would think I was killing him the way he carries on
I may have to get him sedated again to do the defluffing/deknotting
Submit to the brush Ted! Otherwise youโll need a lion shave and youโll have a mullet again
itโs late spring
*allegedly
Floof alert!
So the cattery messaged me and said I'll find out if I got the job by the end of the day Wednesday, because another applicant had to delay their trial shift.
Now me arriving 10 minutes early to mine looks real good methinks ๐
Edit: I want be Ron Swanson, but really I'm the Eurotrash he hates ๐

Sometimes I get so bored at work that I do actual work.
I feel lucky that getting bored at work means I can get on those backburner projects you always wanted to get around to but never could
I get most, if not all, of my work done by 11 am each day. Afternoon is dedicated to catching up on tv shows etc.
Anything comes up work related, it gets done straight away.
It's a good way to avoid boredom :)
I love this
Shame on you!
Husband. I might use the big vacuum cleaner in my office.
Me. It's good to use the big one sometimes as the robot doesn't get the edges well.
Husband. The robot doesn't clean in here.
Me. Do you bring it in, do you switch it on
Husband. No.
Me. Then how can it can clean.
Pakidge!
I decided I wasn't happy with how well the food processor kneads bread dough and decided to get a bread maker. It also gives me another option for making yoghurt which is a good thing, I usually make it in the rice cooker and some times I want to make both rice and yoghurt and things get awkward.
Myers had the model I got on special, so I price matched it with Appliances Online and bought it through them. It's funny to think when I was growing up Myers was considered a top store with great service and now I'd prefer not to buy from them if I can avoid it and don't really trust their customer service to be up to scratch. How the world has changed.
Welcome back YarraByte, hope you're feeling ok.
Plot twist: YarraByte is not a bot and Briongloid is posting the threads himself each night
Is he aware he's not a bot, or is it a Multiple Personality Disorder situation?
I hope not, if it is maybe we can take turns.
This hot dry weather coming is just the thing I need so I can clean the wool rugs and hang them out.
Am missing the beach but too tired and it's a bit wild out there still
Tried to get some rainbow photos. Didn't capture all the colours, but turned out interestingly to me.
For a rainbow to happen, there needs to be a storm.

Nice thread YarraByte, spin me a yarn
Spin us a yarn you're Yarrabyte, spin us a yarn tonight
For we're all in the mood for a storyline and you've got us feeling alright
Be careful, he might balls it up ๐งถ๐งถ๐โคด๏ธ
It's coming down hard out there and there's sunshine.
Peak rainbow weather. Look to the east, there may be pretty colours there.
The last coat of paint has gone on the lawnmower. I failed to keep the paint off my hands this time, so I'm now sprorting yellow spots. We should have a couple of mostly dry days coming up so I'll be able to get out and cut the grass and see how much difference to new sharp blades make.
Always wanted to sharpen my mower blades.
Also you'd mow more quickly had you painted it red.
Ditching the polyfil doona for 100% natural is the best sleep thing I've done in forever! It's not totally hormonal bullshit, it's not cooking yourself in a plastic bag every night
My girlfriend tried to use her laptop to look at some Black Friday stuff last night and she's just getting sick of how slow it is. It 'upgraded' itself to W11 a while ago and that's part of her problem. The other one is probably that it's only running on 8gb RAM.
I think she wants to run a debloater finally but I may get her to covert over to Linux completely. If I did she would actually be more all in on Linux than me, I still have Windows on one of the drives of my main computer.
Operation UnKAOS is going really well.
I have learnt to not let mission creep eat up my time.
So what is everyone doing on this very rainy day? ๐ง๏ธโ๐
Have to take Miniest to an appointment and decided last week to take the day off for it. Also going to take the opportunity to make some boring but important phone calls that I can't do on work time.
A few more yellow poppies are out and the vermilion nasturtiums are rioting. They donโt seem to need any help so Iโll leave them be. Boring.
I want to buy some water soluble oils but donโt know how to dispose safely of the wash water, donโt know what to do if cleaning or thinning does require linseed oil, and honestly I donโt think I can shift myself to actually use them.
Depressed as fuck and art blocked to the point I donโt even want to practice ๐ Canโt even pick up a pencil and practice.
take some photos of your flowers
pick some flowers and put them in a vase
You have created something beautiful. That is art. ๐๐๐
and for practice, get some colouring books , it's easy, relaxing and kinda practice
Sorting through jewellery I have bought, repaired and jewellery findings for bad parts that might be made with toxic metals.
a lot of things I buy are not cheap and they are just fake , they even fake safety certs
throwing out some new things, ๐ remaking some and substituting with safe old parts
Nothing like some sneaky 15c hail 1st day of summer.
edit now it's sunny weee
edit 2 nope more hail lol
How is it December already?
Not sure if the tree is going up in this house because I have a dog that pees on almost any corner he is capable of lifting his leg on
