And that's different from paying an actor to wear a labcoat?

If you're impersonating a specific individual, that's already a crime. And again: if you're claiming Park Jong-sei endorses your asbestos-flavored topokki, you can probably find a guy who looks just like Park Jong-sei, also named Park Jong-sei, to lie on camera for money. A small-text disclaimer does not address the problem.

The most sensible reason to force labels on AI content is so randos start to recognize its tells.
