Both of my cats sleep on the couch next to me until I go to bed, whenever that is. One of them usually follows me to bed, the other usually doesn’t.

My cat goes to bed when I go to bed. She curls up in my arms almost every night and sleeps that way most of the night.
My cat Butterscotch strictly enforces my 22:00 bed time. I fall asleep with him on my chest most nights.
Our cats sleep whenever the fuck they want, because they're cats.
G usually follows Mrs. Noodle upstairs, and sometimes heads up first of we're up late; she always curls up with her. M joins us occasionally, and used to sleep between us every night for the first year or so. X likes to stay up late and watch for raccoons. T is ancient and is usually napping on her favorite chair in a dark room when she's not sitting next to me on the sofa, or walking around just screaming.

Either his cat is good at the job or the raccoons got him and this is all a ruse of theirs.

My cats sleep at the same time as me, on workdays I keep them out of the bedroom because they'll wake me up sometimes just moving around in the bed but on nights I'm not working I let them sleep with me.
It's the same as mine, whenever I go any time between 9 (I'm an adult and will get an early night if I want) and 1 (I'm an adult and after midnight makes me feel grown-up). However, after about 1030 they start following me around whenever I switch rooms just in case.
