30 million women voted for Trump. By choice. That’s part of the problem with the patriarchy: There is significant support from women. It needs to be addressed.

Rules…
- Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
- Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
- Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
- No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
- New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

Feminism is political... How can you be a women community and apolitical?
Personally I think the rule should be clearer and state "political partisanship".
As a trans woman that's kind of difficult because my mere existence has been made political against my will.
the rule is mostly to avoid electoral politics and discussions about Trump, mostly because it's so ubiquitous everywhere else, and a majority of our community members voted to have a safe space away from it ...
