This is the first army of like colours I've painted. It took pretty much a whole weekend and was a lot of fun but it is very exhausting. Let me know what you think!

Man These look great, I'm so lacking in time to keep painting, I'm not so good at it but i enjoy the catharsis of it all
The gobbos are interesting but I do admit I like the guards more. Right now, the thing for you is to get a feel for a good workflow. I like doing batches of between 5 and 10 minis, working my way through a color at a time. Everybody has a little bit different preference to get a good rhythm.
That's exactly what I was doing it just takes so long it's so draining. I really want to try airbrushing but it's such an investment and I don't really have space for that kind of setup right now
