I know Finklestein is persona non grata around here, but I thought his voice and expertise here is valuable. I genuinely thought him talking through his moral uncertainty about how to view the flood as the civilian death toll rose was really interesting, and about how rather than just choose a side he went to listen to historical arguments of similar scenarios like the Nat Turner or Warsaw Ghetto uprisings.
Norm's still a problematic boomer but he remains a major resource and comrade with respect to Palestine.
