Not on cheeseburgers. At least not at McDonald's in Germany.

Same here in the US.

I admit that I don't eat cheeseburgers, prefer hamburgers, but the ones I checked (in n out, jack in the box, Wendy's) do seem to have lettuce.

I'm having trouble even thinking of what the customer meant with this order

[–] bitsplease@lemmy.ml 10 points 2 years ago

My guess, they just wanted to see what would happen lol - sounds like the kind of dumb time killing activity I'd have done as a teen

[–] ArmokGoB@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 2 years ago

There was some law in Australia (I believe) that said restaurants had to remove the cost of ingredients that were taken off the order. Someone figured out that you could go to a chain and do what the person in the picture did to get a small amount of money back. I think the loophole was eventually closed.

Ways to know you're still young. Something being 6 years ago makes you feel old lol

[–] son_named_bort@lemmy.world 8 points 2 years ago

What would happen if you selected no cheese?

[–] EvolvedTurtle@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago

Once when I was really tired I ordered iced coffee with no ice

So I got hot coffee in a plastic cup lmao

[–] hOrni@lemmy.world 5 points 2 years ago

[–] NaoPb@eviltoast.org 3 points 2 years ago
