I'm relishing at the thought that the same greed and incompetence that might take the A's out of Oakland is causing problems for them in Vegas. The special session did not look like it went well at all.

The small part of me that hasn't been crushed under the cruel weight of reality is still holding out hope that they throw in the towel, sell the team, and new ownership negotiates properly with Oakland, but obviously not expecting it... yet...

I hate the rich boys' playground aspect of the big sports leagues. Just shop around for the largest amount of money to steal from taxpayers, then piss all over the fans whenever it's convenient. I hope this is a trend against it. If you want a new stadium for your team, build a new stadium for your team.
