On November 20, 2025, federal immigration agents entered a private residence in East Elmhurst, Queens, New York, during an early-morning enforcement action. Video obtained by community advocates shows armed agents inside the home while a mother pleaded for her children’s safety. The operation targeted an individual who, according to advocates, did not reside at the address. The incident sparked allegations of an unlawful home entry and excessive use of force, which were later disputed by the Department of Homeland Security.
