They're preparing for the problems of an AI future, they're not going to deal with the problems of an AI future.

They're going to be told about them, and they're going to go "oh no", and then they're going to do nothing. Which is pretty much the attitude all the time.

AI is just going to replace creative jobs so that creative people will be forced into jobs they hate

Somehow I hope that with enough automation being there at one point in the future, everyone will have a not big, yet livable universal basic income, so that everyone can just chill and pursue their hobbies if they don’t need any more money than that.
