Unpopular opinion: Keep Flus fire getsy bring in proven OC and DC who can develop fields and develop a scheme with the pieces we got.
Sign JJ to an extension AND somehow get us Chase Young (or another prime pass rusher) for like a 3rd or later pick (a steal basically). Then ill be back on the Poles train.

Today? Extend JJ at minimum. If he also manages a decent trade for someone like Young, that would be icing.
He'll lose me if we trade JJ unless it's crazy lopsided, like a 1 and more.
Good corners are hard to find. You have to pay someone eventually.

Pay JJ, sign one of the Commanders front 4 at the very least. Maybe get rid of some guys for mid round picks, I love Mooney but he's probably better as draft picks now especially if the plan is to get MHJ.
Also a big OLine deal would be awesome but not sure who would make sense that's actually available.
Pay Jaylon Johnson whatever he is asking for. Even if they overpay, they have plenty of cap space. Who wants to stay on or go to a team that doesn't reward their own guys?

Just because you have plenty of cap space, doesn’t mean you should overpay players. That money tends to get used up real fast.
Having said that, I DO think we should extend JJ, and I am extremely unhappy with Poles. I not sure why he feels the need to be more frugal than one of the most frugal families in all of football, the McCaskey family. Maybe that’s why they like him so much.

In all seriousness, I’d rather they extend him, but if he can get $15M/INT elsewhere or $12M/INT in Chicago, then he should go get that bag and Poles will have to prove it wasn’t a boneheaded move to trade him or let him walk.
The funny thing is at the rate he’s going he is not going to be here for the draft picks and cap space he’s been hoarding for next year

We’ve reached the phase of failed rebuild where the fanbase really starts to go after the GM. I remember when it happened with Pace, I think it was shortly after we drafted Kmet
At least Pace wasn’t afraid to break out the check book. Poles acts like nobody is worthy of staying on this trash roster, which is probably a good thing for the few good players we have.
There should be a balance. Pace was negligent with his draft picks and that’s part of the reason this team is so talent deficient. However, you also can’t be cheap and stubborn to sign your own home grown talent.
Fire the head coach.

Be able to pull off multiple incredible deals that will benefit the team. Something like below (highly improbable but hugely beneficial):
-Jaylon Johnson for a first and a second -Sweat and Young for a 4th and a 5th -Fields for a 2nd and 3rd -Be able to obtain two more quality receivers/misused players (i.e. Kendrick Bourne, Taysom Hill)
If he could do all those things, I'd be his biggest fan.
Fire the coaches and extend JJ. Anything less and I’m calling for him to be fired by the end of the season too.
Neither will happen.
There is one way out, and it’s a complete fire sale. Sell the team, fire the GM, fire the coaches, fire the president, trade as many players as possible no matter who they are and start completely fresh next year.
