Had to go to A&E (Galway) around 8pm and assumed I'd be there for hours.
While I was listening to music, a part of my earbud got stuck in my ear. Attempts to fish it out just pushed it in deeper and it got fairly painful then.
It was surprisingly quiet in A&E - about 10 other people there, and their company. Anyway, I was only waiting about 15 minutes when a nurse calls my name and sorted me out. She was there since noon and hadn't seen the light of day since.
Once she was done I waited a few minutes for a doc to check the inner ear tissue in case there was damage. I got the all clear and was home in less than an hour. They're such legends. They work so hard but were so nice to deal with.
