For those wanting to be sure he doesn't have commit access to anything important.

So ask the robot to simplify.

Spicy autocomplete will attempt whatever you ask for, and surely that includes golfing.

“40 years later we have come full circle to LOC being used as a measure of developer productivity.”

OK I’m just gonna stop you right here. Not sure where you are, but it sounds toxic and that absolutely does not match real life for lots of people.

Maybe this is actually about his employer? But either way, this is noise and nonsense.

maybe read the article?… the answer to your questions are hidden there in plain sight

I did, it’s drivel. It sounds like this guy hates his employer, but doesn’t really get what he’s trying to write about.

“You have to know what you’re shipping is valuable!!!”

He’s basically screaming in public that whomever he works for is a slop-shop. How is that anyone else’s problem but his, and why does he assume every business operates this way?

It’s myopic, and a bit off.

the answer to your question was in the paragraph following what you quoted… I see little indication the author was talking about their employer at all as he quotes multiple (shitty) CEOs
