I always thought it was weird when certain friends celebrated when they turned 18. These poor girls have been exploited since their birth. IDK it just seemed very weird.

The grosses part of peoppe celebrsting (in general) that some.actress is 18. It feels like they act like its all "free game" for everything previous.

Like, ok, whatever, you find some.actress attractive, thats part of the job, I guess? Pervy, but whatever.

Ok, you are "acting better" by waiting for her to be 18, kimd of really gross, but ok.

But then its like "oh, she is 18, now all these pics when she was 14-17 are fair game!". Like, dude, no, thats not hownage works at all.

Anyway, examples are more to prove my point than any deep personal opinion on the matter.

I knew people who started a "countdown until we can look at porn of them." I didn't understand that at all. I think it's reasonable to assume that they're not waiting until 00:01 on their birthday to snap some nudes and then slowly wait for them to load to the Internet. Which means anything you're looking at is either underaged or fake with underaged faces; both of which do not contain the proper consent to be okay.

But the strangest of all was how many of these people said that the Olsen twins weren't all that hot. So, I'd ask why this was worth all the effort. They said because they'd get to see Michelle naked. I had some serious unresolved sexual issues at that age, but that answer always irked me. It felt like those dads who get all pervy about their daughters turning "legal", or brothers about their sisters.

I’m glad they’re living on their terms and decided not to do that cheesy reboot.

They're worth billions, they get to make their own rules now.

They certainly didn't have a childhood to speak of, and were likely exploited in a dozen ways, but they and their children and their childrens children will never work or want for anything in their lives.

That one Robot Chicken skit:

Onlookers as Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen enter a building

“I’m so excited!”

“Why?”

“Because… they’re ‘legal.’”

“Dude, you’re 35.”

I shall name the first one Hodos (ὁδός) and the other Ora (ώρα). For the words way and time (as in the time something happens).

Yeah, they have a very cool vibe.

Now does the same one always look like they just smelt it and the other like they just dealt the fart?

Their blessing is bounded by the curse of not knowing that knowing mine is the cause of their demise.
