As always, the headline and article is heavily sane-washing what he actually said:

"Climate change, global warming, all of this, they actually had global warming, remember that wasn’t working because we were actually cooling as a planet.
Then they had another one and another one and another one, and they were wrong, and then they just said climate change, because climate change takes care of heat, snow, whatever."

The worst part is he is almost right.

We couldn't call it global warming cause the extreme weather made people ignore average trend of increasing temperatures. (The classic global warming isn't real cause we got snow in april once)

We are cooling as a planet, or at least we are supposed to be following centuries of trends. We've impacted the cycle that badly that we are warming when we should be cooling.

We started used climate change because its a more inclusive and effective description. Extreme weather events, including cold fronts, happen more intensely and frequently, local areas are experiencing their climate changing. Even a bunch of the old die hard conservatives in my area are agreeing the weather patterns are shifting and changing, getting more unpredictable and intense yet deny climate change being a factor in that. Its god angry we aren't burning more oil and deporting more immigrants

The worst part is that he put less thought into his statement than you did, but enough people still don't care as long as his actions hurt people they don't like.
The headline of the article should really be "President's dementia getting worse, when will Congress act?"
Interpreting sense into his gibberish is giving him too much credit.
He's just spewing out a garbled mishmash of right-wing talking points, slowly deteriorating to the point they're barely intelligible anymore.

Its gargled mish mash, but its some relevant points that their base will remember some details, like global warming was a term phased out, and since they remember that, clearly everything donny said is a fact. The best lies and manipulatation have a sprinkling of truth.

That's the power of buzz words. Use enough of them and morons everywhere will assume you know what you're talking about.

When he croaks, the ground around his godforsaken grave will certainly get a lot chillier than the surrounding cemetery.

Fucking demented ghoul...

[–] mech@feddit.org 15 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I'd bet it will be warmer than other graves, from all the people pissing on it.

And the smoldering hellfire.

His grave should be located in Centralia PA

If my grandmother said half the shit he has said, she’d have been certified as having dementia.

You should trust him on that. He travel a lot. Expecially on private islands.

To save the planet, we sedate Trump and send him on a one-way trip to Tau Ceti.

Why spend millions on a rocket when a one dollar bullet will do the job?

[–] ExtremeDullard@piefed.social 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

One dollar? Wow, the inflation is worse than I thought.

Come to think of it, perhaps Trump is trying to become bullet-proof by making sure nobody can afford bullets...

I have no idea how much that sort of thing costs.
