Easy to get the ball out quick when you aren’t reading the defense.

I'm not all that worried about the INTs to be honest. Growing pains. He's a rookie, he's a second string guy.

I'm happy that a second string guy is taking shots downfield. I'd rather aggressive play calling that moves the ball with some INTs in there vs. 3 and outs on back to back run plays.

This is such a small sample size, irrelevant stat because the dude has only started 3 games. Maybe get back to us after a full season's worth of starts and then this might be more applicable.

Obviously, he's modeled his game after Cutler. That ball is coming out no matter what. Tell Getsy I said..

[–] NewPrints@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Well tonight he is going to ball out and we are going to get excited about him again (myself included) because that is what we do! :)

Is he starting caliber? Almost certainly not.
Is taking a 3 game average and assuming it's their true skill level? Who knows. Aaron Rodgers has a career int% of 1.4% but has had a few three game stretches where that jumped into the high 3% - low 4%. Tom Brady has gone through quite a few stretches (more than 3 games even) where his INT% is in the 4 and even 5%+ range. I'm not say Bagent will ever be that good; i'm simply pointing out that that small sample size is never your friend. Well, unless you point is to shit on a rookie UDFA from a D2 school.

This season is already a wash. let's just let it play out; whether we let JF or TB be starter the rest of the season or QB by committee.

This looks worse for Jimmy G than anything.

[–] drewdreds@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Rodgers .34 really makes you think

[–] Chicago_Jayhawk@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Now factor in minutes played in their career and check the data again.

[–] LoVeCh33s3@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yea hes not a good qb, what else is new...

[–] Dilligaf_1963@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No guts no glory....LOL

[–] nnaly@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Who cares. Its tanking season anyways

[–] Numerous-Base-3764@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Why are the Bears on another "prime time" NFL game?!

[–] pma198005@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Haha eventually you got to accept the data right? Haha damn Justin statistically looks trash

[–] opeth10657@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Gets the ball out quickly, just goes to the wrong team

[–] BeachCruiserLR@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Clearly his biggest issue is speed. In D2 he never came close to throwing against NFL speed. I think in his mind he could make those throws how long it takes him to adjust is yet to be seen, if ever.

[–] GordoG60@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Those stats speak more about the O Line performance and the quality of the coaching/play calling. The 2 QBs are victims of the system

[–] EHammerton1991@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He's a Bear and Jimmy G is from Chicago. You could say our city is definitely topping charts!

[–] JeanieGold139@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The NFL needs a restraining order placed against Josh McDaniels banning him from coming within 500 miles of any football field for thinking replacing Derek Carr with Jimmy fucking G was a good idea.

[–] Similar_Meeting9722@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He’s an un drafted d2 rookie making rookie mistakes and people are acting like he’s garbage. Is he better than Fields? No. Is he a young player with lots of potential and time to develop? Absolutely.

[–] ScruffMixHaha@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I see Nathan Peterman has been teaching him well.

[–] RicardosMontalban@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Weird flex to use when Fields has finished worst, 2nd to worst and it’s on pace to be competitive for worst this year too

[–] supremenatureboi@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Pretty small sample size, tbh.
