Can we stop making live action anime and animation?
One piece was a solid onramp to the story. I ain't gonna watch thousands of episodes
I think Avatar the last air bender is top notch stuff as it is, however, there are some people who dont like cartoons or anime. If this is decent and it brings more fans to the last air bender then I'm all for it! If its crap then its crap. If its great then great! I'll still have the animation!

I just don't know why I'd want to watch this over the original show tbh. If it's a true re-make, I really doubt it'll retain the charm and heart the original had.
These kinds of remakes are for the original fans as much as a new audience. There are MANY people who write off animation entirely.
This is to expose new people to the story and hopefully some of those people will check out the original and see that animation is for everyone not just children.

I was real skeptical. Well, I'm still real skeptical. But I kinda wanna see Appa from Kim's Convenience as Iroh. That sounds fun.

No way is this actually going to be good. They fact that they didn’t include any of the actual acting tells me that this is going to be a nightmare of a production
