We all honestly might have to find a different team if that actually happened.

Oh how much good coaching can cover for a player and team.

Russ is playing fine their mistake was trading for him tho because that team was not just a QB away. The 2018 bears were a QB away. The jags with Blake bortles that went to the AFC championship were a QB away. The Broncos were never just a QB away.

"Poles may be mentally challenged, but at least he isn't that mentally challenged"

He is pretty close tho

Plot twist - Russ is actually playing pretty well this year

Hated the trade idea from the very first instant I heard about it. I've had my share of shit takes and bad insight but that is one trade that I was incredulous that anyone wanted to make. That is one any fan should have smelled as bad from ten miles away. You don't trade three first round picks and two starters for a qb getting close to his mid 30s, especially when you have the Bears line blocking ng for him.

Poles is getting a high 1st RD and DJ Moore for Bryce Young.. I’m cool with him but he needs to fire the coaching staff

[–] ImEvadingPermaban@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That's because we have yet to pick outside of the Top 3 with Poles.

I mean we have literally zero evidence he wouldn't have but OK.

Russ gets a lot of hate but people forget he was very good in Seattle. Multiple seasons over 4000 yards and 30+ TDs and an average qbr over 100 during his career there. At the time it seemed like a smart move for a team that looked complete minus a QB. It’s easy to look at a move that didn’t exactly pan out a few years down the line and criticize it, but at the time I really wanted Russ and if I recall correctly so did everyone else in this sub.

That being said, boy did we dodge a bullet

I wouldn’t be so sure tbh
