Is it a coincidence that on his first game inactive we give the panthers their first punt return touchdown in years? He is terrible at touching the football but I think his presence as a gunner was missed.

If we just needed a good gunner we should’ve kept Vildor

He's the biggest net negative. Idc if he's fast as a gunner. He's useless if that's his best trait. He costs us much more than he helps us. And he's very rarely actually helped

Remember when he was the fastest guy down the field and hit the returner after a fair catch was called? All he had to do was NOT hit the guy. Two games in a row he got a 15 yard penalty.

No, I think the Bears will be fine without him.

Unless the official stats are incorrect, he has zero tackles this year. I'm going to say no, they're not going to miss his presence on the punt team.

I mean shit, on the punt return, the gunner DID get there right after he caught it. He just whiffed on the tackle.

I haven't seen anything that'd tell me that Velus wouldn't have done the exact same thing.

3rd round picks can be busts now?

Absurd point... A third round pick is never a bust. He was never going to be a good player for obvious reasons. A bad pick but I can see why they tried.
