Chiefs also have a good pass defense so it makes it easier to stop the run.
Bucs, Monty got hurt and they mostly abandoned the run. He only played 18 snaps in the game.

Who cares. They're a good team, we're not. Good players tend to play well on good teams. Monty is not a world beater, but he's a good player on a good team. Herbert and Foreman would probably run wild on us too on a good team. Hell, they do pretty well on the Bears, and we suck overall.
I know it’s easy to say, Bears are terrible at everything but anyone who can’t admit that this defense isn’t doing good things isn’t watching the games. They’re on the right track.
I did a quick look up and from a statistical perspective they’re on par with the Eagles…

The Bears are not a top 3 run defense - I don’t care what the stats say.
It doesn't really matter what he does. Bears running backs room is better than it was last year. Monte will run wild on us. Both statements can be true because we are playing the Detroit Lions not David Montgomery.
