Can we? Sure
Will we? Lol. It’s gonna happen for the rest of the year and the same damn thing will be said 10 different ways everyday.

Another fields post…. sigh
Throw yours into the pile
You new?
No
Different sub same Chicago sports fan shit. “Can we for 5 minutes not talk about Zach Lavine”
Better teams than the Bears have began mock draft simulators tbh.
Can you guys stop talking about the QB of your football team and stick to more important topics like bitching about people talking about the qb?
He’s played multiple seasons already. Just because a bunch of people in this sub want him to be god doesnt mean it’s going to happen
I'll update my opinions as more information comes in, but in the meantime, I want to talk about the Bears, damn it!
Coming to the sub is optional. You can use youtube if you'd like to see old highlights.
Idk, can you?
It’s overcompensating for Bagent being ass
You: Says perfectly reasonable things
This fanbase: No, I don't think I will.
Thank you Jesus
and do what, talk about the playoff asperations?
I mean, he’s kinda the most important piece of building a competitive team. People are gonna talk about him until he proves definitively that he either is or isn’t the guy.
You become a fan by shutting up
I'd happily take a post where we talk about how fucking trash the coaching tree that has come out of GB has been. Hackett and Getsy are useless. Look at how well Russ has been playing in Denver now that they've washed the stink of Hackett off of him. Dude looked fucking broken all of last season and early into this season. I don't think they know what the fuck they're doing and are like the kid who got good grades on team projects by letting the smart kid (Rodgers) do all the work.
Lmao I’m right there with you buddy. I’ve never seen an OC call so many damn screens in a game. It’s like that’s 60% of his playbook.
Not 60%, but what’s the average in the nfl? Bears vs chargers: bears ran 5 all game and chargers ran 8. The nfl overall runs more screens
I'll do you one better. I do not think the offense is as QB friendly as everyone thinks. The 49ers with a stacked roster has made it seem like they can plug and play a QB and still be elite, but so far the only very successful QB's in the Shanahan offense we've seen as of today are Tua, Matt Stafford, Matt Ryan, Aaron Rodgers, and Brock Purdy. What do all of these QB's have in common? Being able to play at a high level in the pocket, have teams committed to the run, and all but Tua and Brock were vets when first introduced to the offense. Fields would be setup much better with a Greg Roman type of offense or a Andy Reid-esque where the QB is allowed a lot of freedom to improvise. Unironically, Matt Nagy was probably the better coach for Fields but we ran him out of town.
I think there’s a bit of revisionism about Wilson’s Denver tenure.
I agree. What this sub is trying to do with fields vs 2024 rookie QB is like deciding to by a house while only touring half the rooms. Just wait two months. We will know then.
🔔🚨‼️ ATTENTION r/CHIBears - FROM THIS POINT FORWARD, NO FIELDS RELATED POSTS WILL BE ALLOWED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. PLEASE ONLY POST OLD GAME HIGHLIGHTS THAT DO NOT CONTAIN ANY FIELDS FOOTAGE ‼️🚨🔔
Or ask ridiculously stupid questions like who is your favorite bear and why?
Nobody is forcing you to read those posts.
you mean how we have already let him play for 3+ years?
lol a few games? He’s played a few seasons…you can talk about him by now.
This sub has gone full scale retard over the last 72 hours; it’s actually kind of impressive, really.
The coaching staffs of the last several years would have broken Stroud, Lawrence, Hurts, Burrow. It doesn't matter who it is. They'd either mess them up or make them want to leave. Let's break the bank on replacing Flus and Company with proven, peak career winners.
This sub is quickly turning into r/lakers
What the hell else are we supposed to talk about?
Fields has played enough games. If you dont have a evaluation on him this and the past few seasons then IDK what to tell ya.
What is going to happen if Bears go 1-2 in the draft with Caleb and MHJ…but Caleb is a bust and Maye was the right choice? That would be 3 first rd QBs in a row that Chicago has gotten wrong. On the other hand, what if they go 1-2 with Caleb and MHJ and the entire trajectory of this franchise is forever changed!
I'm sorry, I thought this was America!
He’s not a rookie…
Stop talking about the thing I don’t like you talking about while I talk about it 😡
Can we get a chat thread and herd these dear diary posts to it?
Essentially no chance at making the post season. Likely to have the number one pick. There's really nothing else to talk about besides the quarterback for the next 7 months.
He’s played 30 something of them we know what he is, it’s not going to change after missing a month of the season.
The Fields apologists, homers, and excuse givers are out in full swoon it seems lately. Get off his sack already.
NO WE MUST USE RECENCY BIAS THE ALGORITHM DEMANDS IT OUR REACTIONS NOW ARE PERMANENTLY TRUE AGHHHHH
oh right, the solution is to let him play some games. Let's disregard the 35 he's already played.
Remind me, CJ Stroud.. who is his best receiver?
Sounds like someone owns a jersey.
Did we really need another Fields post? Give it a rest.
It is likely that both sides want to go in different directions after this season and it will be mutual (for everyone except for some of people here)
At this point I'd rather see him fail miserably so we can pick the next guy. The Bears will be playing better teams from here on out and I don't see it turning out well.
Best to just avoid the sub in all honesty. The Bears fandom will be poison until we can actually not be pathetic on Sundays. That goes for all parties from the top down.
