No, wanting to lose ended last year.

[–] hammerSmashedNail@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yes, but no. It’s becoming a losing culture. The bears are the new browns/lions. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

I’m completely neutral to wins and loses but I want the coaching staff gone. I want a new start and new qb

[–] PopkinLover@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No. Fuck losing.

I’m so fucking tired of this loser ass mindset. Did you forget we have Carolina’s pick??

[–] Spronty@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Why even watch sports if you want your team to lose? I'm a Bears fan and I want to watch them win. And before you say a higher draft pick is better long term, just ask Browns fans how high draft picks year after year worked out for them.

If you're a person genuinely happy that they lost, maybe its time to take a step back from sports. You might be too invested. Just my two cents.

YES.

It’s a great loss. Bears held their own for most of the game against a better team. And the loss moves the Bears ahead of the Giants (a worse team) in the draft order. This couldn’t have gone better.

Sometimes it would be nice to just win one. They haven’t won a divisional game in what feels like an eternity. This game was a legit gut punch. Compares to the 0:11 Falcons game

I’m so fucking tired of this loser talk and celebrating tanking.

We’ve had 1 good season in the last 10. Tanking clearly doesn’t do anything!!

[–] Onederbat67@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I think the issue here is that we are more or less guaranteed a good pick with Carolina sucking ass.

So we should try and build a winning culture instead of tanking.

Regardless, this was a shitty game

You're right.

It is an unpopular opinion.

The responses to this thread are just showing that the vast majority of this sub couldn't pass the marshmallow test even as adults.

[–] Toomuchlychee_@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The high draft pick is not the additional marshmallow you think it is. It’s more like, you already waited 15 minutes for the additional marshmallow, but the test administrator said “sorry, I lied, you have to wait another 15 minutes and I can’t promise that I won’t make you wait 15 more after that”

The time for losing was last year. Losing right now fucking sucks. All we’re doing is creating a losing culture. We’re not any closer to winning anything if you keep losing.

We lose so much that when opportunity presents itself like today, we always collapse. New draft picks no matter how many you have wont change that.

What’s the point of tanking and getting high draft picks if you cant develop them into winners?

[–] kryppla@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No. Losing creates a culture of losing.

[–] TheRealMe72@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No, losing sucks. We can root for the panthers to lose for that pick.

I want to watch a competent NFL team on my Sundays

[–] TheMoneySloth@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You don’t want to see your coaching staff being a glaring issue, especially a glaring issue to lay-fans

[–] ATLRedbird@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Team also needs to learn what it takes to nurture a winning mindset. Losing can destroy confidence

[–] thealexstorm@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Fuck no. Only losers want to lose. If your team sucks and you lose and end up with a good draft spot, that’s a silver lining type of thing, but only a dumbass wants to lose.

[–] ThiefofNobility@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Losing hurts.

But losing also means we likely get rid of this insulting, double flusher of a coaching staff.
