- No manipulating votes via bots or alt accounts; this will result in permanent bans. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.

All the doorbell camera recordings are triggered by motion, so if the cops want to try to track someone they're gonna have to ingest a meric fuck ton of video. Even if they can AI to victory just the logistics of obtaining it all will be prohibitive.
Calling all werewolves, witches, and kpop demon hunters--- get your masks on and bring your spray foam. Be safe though, don't eat any candy that looks opened.
Spray foam? Angle grinders and other power tools. Or just a pellet gun aimed at the lens.

The only problem with that idea is that no one goes trick or treating any more.
edit: so are you all who get a lot of them in densely populated urban areas, or more suburban or rural? Just curious.
I bet a lot of flock cameras exist in areas where there may be lots of foot traffic, like bars or in college towns, anywhere that may be a house party.
My wife and I had 40 trick or treaters last year, my buddy a city over counted 55. It might just be there's not young kids around your area
Wow, yeah it could depend on the area. I haven't seen any in at least 10 years around here.
My neighborhood is in a big city but still single-family, and we've recently started getting a lot more trick-or-treaters over the last few years because it's been gentrifying and a lot of the young couples who moved in started having kids.
