No, I'm not saying anything about what we need, just providing some historical context around what brought feudalism to an end -- and replaced it with capitalism.

In Europe, what ended feudalism wasn't so much a counteracting -ism, but the bubonic plague, which in the first wave wiped out nearly a third of the population, so many people that the remaining peasants' labor was suddenly worth a lot more, giving them much more bargaining power for better wages and working conditions.

I think we should just keep the floppy disk symbol at this point, because it doesn't matter what it was originally based on or whether that exists any more--everyone knows what that symbol means, and it can't really be confused with anything else.
There's no point making an icon that looks like any other particular kind of storage device since those are changing all the time. So we either have to pick some real world thing like a safe or warehouse or grain silo or whatever. or invent some completely new symbol that's not related to anything and then everyone would have to learn it. Which takes us back to just keeping the floppy disk symbol.
"It was unanimous among those we allowed to vote."
Serious? WaPo has been a joke ever since Bezos bought it. A pathetic joke.
I’ll bet the kids have zero clue how an estate is processed and will be deeply disappointed when the bills from all the current court cases from doing illegal shit prior to presidency (and during) eats it all up.
That could have been the case if hadn't been reelected. But he has already raked in billions since he got in office again. The corruption is much more extensive and blatant than the first term.
This isn't some sudden new thing. Tyson has shut a bunch of its plants down (at least 8 or 10) over the last 2-3 years. They still have over 100 left, it's not like they're going out of business or anything.
She needs to stop buying so many ~~pens~~ pencils, and limit her kids to two or three dolls, they don't need more than that. (yes Mangolini did say that regarding people upset about prices)
In response to the incident, a company spokesperson told NBC that “safety is our highest priority at Waymo"
In all the recent stories about Waymos cruising right on past stopped school buses that have their stop sign out, lights flashing, and kids crossing, they said the same thing. They also stated that Waymos "will not be taken off the streets for now." That's even though it's still happening even after they updated the software and thought they'd fixed it.
My first thought was, Why the hell do they get to say whether or not their Waymos will be taken off the streets?! Why aren't they being told to get the damn things off the streets until they've proved this won't happen again? Have we all just completely rolled over for the oligarchs to the point where we just let them do anything they want even after they've killed animals and nearly killed schoolchildren? (that's a rhetorical question of course).
Yes, but a lot of people say them incorrectly, like "no problemo" with all the diphthongs, instead of "no hay problema".
Tug o'snake
But it did achieve the actual goal, which is that it created a cloud of confusion where a lot of money was moved around and huge amounts wound up in the private pockets of oligarchs, who laughed while hundreds of thousands died.
