I'm curious how far off he is because I'm thinking he hasn't been as bad as some people think.

Here's the stats for all qbs that have started at least 20 games since the start of last season. Fields is 14/19 in QB rating, last (worst) in interception %, completion %, sack %, 2nd last in ANYA, and last by a huge margin in completions and attempts. Obviously this doesn't include rushing numbers so it doesn't tell the whole story, but none of the passing numbers are really any good.

Jesus Christ nobody’s even close to getting sacked as many times as he has

Fields is 20th in ANY/A this year

Fields was 33rd in ANY/A last year.

So he's improved, but still below average.

Last 16 games 92.8 passer rating 25TD 12 Int 7.1 yard per attempt https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/justin-fields-stats-in-the-last-16-games. Unsurprisingly numbers go down if you include before that (16 games starts with NE game last year)

Now how many fumbles, fumbles lost, & sacks?

It is bad. Outside of this and the Ohio subs, nobody seriously believe he is a franchise QB and busted hard

Mental gymnastics to make him elite, open your eyes and watch, does he look like a good QB? Is he a multiplier? I say nyet
