sure, might as well post this here too ^v^

cross-posted from: https://lemmy.blahaj.zone/post/47316605

so for background around february? maybe march? one of those two in 2023 we figured out dressing like a girl was pretty fun, and took on the femboy identity.

some months later we thought, "being referred to as a girl feels nice, but i'm not sure if that's entirely applicable", thus leading to at some point a bigender identity and at some point pangender. perhaps late 2023 or early 2024 we shuttered having any male identity at all.

but that aside, pictures!

10 July 2024

this is the first photo we really have. we don't have any prior to this on hand. it was taken after being discharged from a hospital! our acne was awful at the time (and up until starting HRT) so we wore face masks so much.

wait... hold on... filenames checking in.

12 October 2023

okay, this is the first photo! apparently the timestamps in our photo folders are a little messed up for the older files.

here we are looking like a femboy ISIS member.

21 March 2025

this is our first selfie we took just cuz we felt like it. if we remember right we were about to take a photo of something before moving it with the forklift. we had discovered that hats covered our bushy eyebrows very nicely.

13 April 2025

bangs!

27 April 2025

longer bangs! and going out in a very feminine fit for the first time. after getting bangs we started to take a TON more photos compared to before.

16 November 2025

some months earlier we stopped wearing a mask for we had acquired medication for acne.

water has always been the enemy of our bangs. as it is, we don't look young, but we ascended into retiree status with this photo lol (although if it weren't for the eyebrows we wouldn't mind)

the bushy eyebrows are very apparent. a transfemme friend did recommend a place to get them done for a reasonable price but we still haven't gone yet to this very day xD

23 December 2025

we've been on hormone therapy for around two or so months and this bra was already full heheh (even with it being a lower than ideal dose). our genetics may give rise to lots of horrible stuff, but at least we'll have big boobs!

+) it is at around this point we began posting to lemmy! (+

thus, you can sift through our oldest posts and check stuff out if you want any further ideas.

of note is this photo though (22 February 2026):

it's the first selfie we ever posted. it's also one of very few selfies we have taken with hair that loose. we HATE how our loose hair looks, and honestly those photos alone are making us consider either cutting it shorter, straightening it, and/or dyeing it....

wait WAIT VERY IMPORTANT INTERJECTION we just remembered this test photo on this digital camera.

from this perspective our loose hair looks... okay? THAT MEANS WE CAN MAKE THIS WORK :D this just made us so giddy rn omgomg yalsidfhuwieahflaljnvd

thnx y'all <3

I always appreciate posts like this, it makes me feel like I can actually do this one day! Even then it's very nice to see people find their way and become happier.

Y'all are very pretty, and loose hair does look good on you (at least I think so). I feel you on the eyebrows, one of these days I'm going to shape them, they might even be one of the few things stopping me from passing.

Thank y'all and everyone else who continues to post on here <3

YAYYY you have no idea how much that means to us. a lot of it is probably just it reminding us of how we looked in the past, but still.

it makes me feel like I can actually do this one day!

'cause you can :)

Thank you all so much for posting your timeline. I really love the styles you wear, and you look amazing. I am so glad you were able to recover and become beautiful butterfly's.

You also gave me great advice the other day and I will always remember your kindness. ❤️

tyy, honestly we were kinda on the fence about posting what we did, but hearing this from you, it was incredibly worth it. we're just so happy to be a source of hope. we'll leave it at that for now heheh

you are not alone!

Interesting! So, just asking and you don't have to reply: can your expand on your pluralness beyond your profile? I just found out recently that I've been curating a tulpa for decades, so I'm curious about your experience.

huheh we've been meaning to but it also feels like an insurmountable task and we've just been putting it off lol

here's something from a dialogue we had with another user though if you want a general idea. sorry for the lack of any real flow or structure!

how confusing some of this is [the other user was referring to our plurality]

we don't really understand it either but we'll try to explain a little more xD

now, featuring ~proper grammar~ and not terrible readability, is another member's thoughts about plurality! (it is not AI we promise)

The meaning when we say we are plural is as so...

This brain behaves in such a way that applying plurality as a model and deriving perspectives from there leads to the most useful conclusions. Put simply, it "explains stuff" about us.

For instance, if our outward behavior were to be interpreted in the context of us being a single entity, then some stuff would still make sense. Perhaps that this person enjoys biking, perhaps that she likes girls—and it has mostly worked.

But, some stuff would not make sense when taking that approach! Why does she have verbal conversations with herself when alone? How come different activities bring up different accents or languages entirely? And how about her wildly fluctuating romantic and sexual preferences?

Assuming the existence of multiple entities within the head permits these questions to be met with far more useful answers than prior; with regards to those first examples that did make sense, the same applies too. Put shortly, it is far easier to think about our brain if you get into the mindset of it being comprised of multiple beings!

that just covers what plurality is of course, not really who we are or how you interact with us, both as a group and individually. truthfully when it comes to conversation, its typically one member at a time, frequently me—my name is tani. actually, given how often it is me, you could describe it as primarily my writing with other parts woven in occasionally. but not always!

in the meantime between now and next time, here is a list of names cuz why not lol:

  • Tani
  • Miele
  • Khemehli
  • Rena
  • Cela
  • Sämme (or Saemme or Samme)

thats all of us. possibly maybe. or maybe not we aren't 100% sure. but that is all we seem to be aware of!

other thoughts:

  • perhaps we'll make a post out of this or something
  • much of this "scatterbrain" as it were is how we write longer texts (or big slideshows). lots of just writing and writing and picking what we think will be best. and there being six members in this plural system means that agreement between us can take a while.
  • usually we revise stuff like this. we did not do that here, expect errors lol (both above and below)
  • we might continue this writing with further aspects. maybe who each of us are, how we interact, sexuality, and so forth.

it is our hope that this answers some questions.

you are of course welcome to pester us further!

update: here's a post with slightly more effort put in

https://lemmy.blahaj.zone/post/47362290

we reiterate our apologies for the absence of any proper readability

[–] AiricaFyresong@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Thank you so much for sharing this. Don't worry about the readability, it comes across just fine. We're taking notes!

[–] kivihiili@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 3 days ago

tysm for the reassurance :)
