Garbage headline. Self driving cars use GPS for navigation, not collision avoidance. They use lidar, cameras, and radar for this.

Would it make them possibly misnavigate when there are multiple close driveways? Sure. It's not causing crashes though, as evidenced by the lack of crashes caused by this storm.

This article title is deliberately misleading.
