I'll go against the grain and say Giants. I think a Bellichek-coached team will win another two games this season. Can't see the Giants doing so the rest of the year.
pats also have the jets on their schedule, giants played them already. bears pick also in better position now that the giants won. another thing, pats will take a qb at #1 which is fine with me anyway.
I feel like there are puts and takes with both:
Giants are more likely to win 5-6 games and slide behind our pick. If you feel confident in Carolina getting #1 and want to maximize our own pick, Giants winning is better.
The Patriots are more likely to go 2-15 or 3-14, so they are a bigger threat to the Panthers #1 pick. But they are also unlikely to slide behind us in draft order even if they do win, so them winning makes Panthers more likely to keep #1, but it also is more likely to push our pick back behind both the Giants & Pats at the end of the year.
Personally, I am fairly confident the Panthers will maintain the SoS tiebreaker against NE - so they are 2 games ahead of NE in reality. I would be shocked if the Panthers win 2 games AND the pats lose out. Therefore I am glad the Giants won today because it’s more likely to help our draft picks (and helps us in multiple rounds)

I know I am late to this party, as the game is already over, but... We were really hoping the Pats aren't actually tanking this season, and they win this game. The problem is, they are actually tanking this season, so they lost.
I've been saying it for a while now, but the Pats want a top 2 pick. They have been trying really hard to be this bad all season, and I am surprised people haven't taken more notice.
The pats got a whole company of tank personnel right now, captains Jones, Zappe and Ryland are amazing.
