I have a SS watch and I normally use sport loops. For formal events I switch to a fitting SS or leather band

I think it looks sloppy with a suit. That's just my preference. People can wear what they want, but just not for me. :)

It’s a watch.

I'll just swap in a more formal/conservative band if it seems warranted. It's 2023 - it's pretty normal to wear a smartwatch.

I have a couple automatics I wear when smart devices are not allowed.

I have a nice leather band, matches my nicer belt and then I change up the face to be minimalistic.

With the gold Milanese loop to match my case, my watch looks nicer/more luxurious than a lot of analog watches out there haha. The band makes a big difference

I switch back to either the S0 or S4 Stainless Steel

i just put a nice watch face and watch band on my apple watch, i think the non ultra apple watch’s can be quite classy

Nobody notices, nobody cares. Sometimes I just wear a nicer band if I feel like it.

I have an Apple Watch Ultra for diving (I’m a marine biologist) and working out, and a Series 9 stainless steel for other occasions.

I wear my apple watch all the time so I have wicked tanline and must a wear watch for every occasion. Usually switch to ghock for events and weddings.

If I was in the wedding party, I'd wear my Tag Heuer. Anything else and I'll switch to the leather link band most of the time.

I just switch to a leather band or link bracelet.

I wear my Apple Watch stainless all the time aside when charging. I swap the face and band (Milanese or a wood and metal link band) for fancier occasions.

I change the band.

I wear my Ultra every day, all day, except for 30ish minutes every morning to charge it.

i have a milanese band so i think it's fine for most occasions. i might reconsider if i was like - part of the wedding party, but probably not if i was just going to a wedding.

For very formal or weddings, switch to a timeless piece. Everything else, Apple. But again, this is not a hard written rule and time seems to be changing quick.

I use my watch for the sleep monitoring, morning alarm, workouts. For any outing other than workouts I will wear a nicer watch from my collection depending on the event.

I bought a stainless band and wear that. I never was a high end watch guy, and I’m not sure I want to be. I know it’s considered sacrilege to some to wear a sport watch with dress, but I don’t care. More people notice if you are fit, your suit is tailored nicely, and your footwear is on point than they do your wrist.

I was in a formal wedding at a country club in Texas. I bought a Swarovski crystal surround + band from Etsy. My AW was just ONE of many, including bride + groom!

I have a couple Hermes straps, but if it’s really formal I will ditch the AW and wear my Tag Monaco.

Use a real watch in nicer occasions. Apple Watch for all other times.

I put on one of my more formal bands (leather or link, depending on the fit). I got the stainless steel model specifically because it can be dressed up a little easier than aluminum. I’ll never go watchless and dumb watches just don’t do it for me anymore.

I wear my Apple Watch always. I have a silver Milanese loop, and while I don't like how often I have to "tighten" it, it looks nice for all occasions.

I always wear mine with a black Milanese loop band but if I had a more casual band I would swap it out.

I switch to wear one of my mechanical watches for formal events or when I’m meeting other watch enthusiasts. Honestly, outside of watch enthusiasts, probably no one will notice what watch you are wearing.

I wear my AWU all the time. I will use the leather loop for nicer occasions, I have quite a few actual watches but I just don’t wear them anymore

If I’m having a meeting I don’t wear it. It doesn’t look professional, it looks like a toy watch in the eyes of people who are not familiar or obsessed with Apple products.

It’s ok to take it off.

I wear my Apple Watch on my right wrist and my mechanical watches on the left if I’m working out that day. If I’m not working out, I don’t wear my Apple Watch unless I’m traveling via air.

I will wear one type of band for a while. After a while I will switch to another band, and after that another. I like how it looks different in any photos that it appears in. Nobody else notice it nor even care, but I do and that’s all that matters.

Ultra with the ceramic dark band and the Fire and Water face no complications.

I wear my AW most of the time, but I have a few analog watches that I like to wear on the weekends or when going to nice places. I have had analog watches my whole life before buying the AW so I like to take them out sometimes.

I use my black stainless steel link bracelet with the California face in black

Wear my Milanese Loop and California face with a color that matches my shirt. I don't get dressed up a lot so it looks ok to me and I've gotten compliments on the combo.
