If anyone's ever in Monterey the aquarium is 100% worth visiting. I grew up going there all the time, and I've dragged many friends there too who all loved it. They post feeding times on the maps they give you so you can go watch all the animals be fed. Get there 20 minutes early for the sea otters though to get a good spot, because the entire aquarium congregates there during feeding time.
