The war on terror actually led to the murder of an estimated 3-4 million people during the last twenty years. 1 million is just Iraq, this is not including how the destabilization of the region led to the civil war in Syria, it does not include Libya, it does not include Afghanistan, Yemen, Pakistan.

I like this but disagree because China is definitely doing way more than nothing. Not just anyone can build up their productive forces and navigate an extremely hostile international environment.

Exactly. they've been manufacturing a ton of commodities for European and Amerikkkan consumers for decades. It only looks like they're "doing nothing" because the labor of 2nd and 3rd world countries is always made invisible to 1st worlders by the obfuscation of international trade and resale practices.
