I just adore how excited dogs get when you mention the W-word. Some of them will start jumping and yelping and just showing a level of happiness that I'm a bit envious of. When's the last time something made me "jumping happy"? Some dogs get to experience that every day!

I think our dog is broken. Sometimes I have to almost drag him out of the house for walks, especially at night, and even then he'll often just turn around and head back inside without doing anything. He also sometimes skips meals.

There's nothing wrong with him; we take him to the vet annually (at least) and have mentioned the food thing, so they suggested we cut back a bit, but he still does it. He's definitely not overweight - he's a perfect weight for his size.

I think he's just content and doesn't want to move unless he has to.
