Power Rangers showed the world that autism is actually a requirement to properly pilot a Zord

She’s artistic, but pronounced with the Queen’s English, it sounds like autistic

[–] EndMilkInCrisps@hexbear.net 48 points 2 years ago

Autism is branding your self to be a recognisable pop culture figure.

Old English Queen voice, "No I don't like it because it isn't the same color. It has to be all the same color."

Me, on Twitter. "This woman has autism."

[–] Magician@hexbear.net 40 points 2 years ago

So having the unearned money to afford color coordinated outfits make you autistic. I had my suspicions.

Neurotypicals seem to either think that everyone who is a little odd (not matter how much) has autism, or that if you have autism you should not be able to function in society, otherwise you "don't really have it" because you "seem normal enough".

In other words they have no idea what it is lol

Autism is when hats.

It's when you are on Canadian money. If you sit still in public for any length of time - like for example when getting a vaccine shot - those Canadian moneyprinters will have time to put your likeness on a few $10 bills.

She was a fierce girlboss.

[–] keepcarrot@hexbear.net 22 points 2 years ago

I know here there's a mild trend here of autistic people being Anglophiles and talking differently, but I'm pretty sure she was the queen and grew up in that environment.

Zoomers have a different definition of autism. They think it's when someone does something

[–] tactical_trans_karen@hexbear.net 13 points 2 years ago (1 children)

And the more things someone does, the more autisticer it is. think-about-it

I'm the Most High, Most Mighty, and Most Excellent Monarch, Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of My other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith, and Sovereign of the Most Noble Order of the Garter, and I'm gay.

[–] GarfGirl@hexbear.net 13 points 2 years ago (1 children)

epic diversity win, the queen had autism

[–] sempersigh@hexbear.net 11 points 2 years ago

Extremely epic. Very slay as the youth say

[–] axont@hexbear.net 13 points 2 years ago

The only thing I can imagine is being said is that autistic people sometimes like to dress the same, but neurotypical people also like dressing in specific styles and she wanted to be a recognizable public figure. So whatever

Full spectrum jacket

[–] glans@hexbear.net 6 points 2 years ago

Walking while wearing a jacket falling just below the knee.

People who sit wearing a jacket falling just below the knee: totally not autism.

Standing in a jacket falling just below the knee is an unresolved question. More research is needed.

[–] YourMom@hexbear.net 5 points 2 years ago

Spoken like someone who has only worn one or two colors. Honestly you should take this post down.

By this logic they could also claim she was queer. Those colours form the rainbow after all, and as we all know, that defines it.
