He's had a lot of bad luck this season, but i feel his drives have gone under the radar a bit. He's in a new team and has been more or less on the same racepace as Ocon from the get-go. Very interested to see how the fight between the two develops.
Shouldn't he get a penalty for unsafe release? He almost crashed into Stroll. Why was there no mention of this from race control?
Gasly and Leclerc both looked like they should have gotten unsafe release penalties. I guess the stewards decided to be lenient considering the chaos in the pits.

Hamilton knocked a lump out of the Red Bull. How you can claim a penalty isn't deserved is beyond me.
I just watched the race and I didn't notice the hole until I saw a post on Reddit, I don't think it was obvious during the race that there was that much damage.
Please, please no repeat of 2021.
The radar they showed don't give me much hope they will start anytime soon...

Most bullshit penalty I've seen in a long time.
If this is the threshold for the amount of spray to race then we'll never see a full wet race again.

Same. I woke up a bit late and thought I missed the start. Anyone knows the reason for it?
There was a delay to the sprint qualifying and thereโs a rule about giving a certain amount of time between quali and the sprint.

How long is the delay?
I sure wish this was going to be a standing start. I'd love to see Oscar try to get the jump on Max.
That would just lead to a red flag which takes until it starts raining again and we wouldn't have gotten a race

Issue doesn't seem to have been caused by him this time? They retired the car.
Edit: he said collision with Hamilton caused retirement. He was losing pace before that though, so that's on him.
Everything that led up to that is his fault though. So whilst the contact and the resulting damage wasnโt his fault, the fact that he was in that situation at all was.
