Personally for me, I've always been a fan of bspwm

I've been using hyprland as of recent to try it out. But I think I'll be trying something else soon. But I do want to stick with wayland.

xmonad.

Never been beat, since I first tried it in 2007 (iirc ~ or maybe it was 2008).

And I've tried to try nearly every window manager.

I've been using Sway as my main desktop environment for a few years now. Before that I was very into KDE.

X2. Sway has worked reliably for me for years and is super customizable. Very happy. Used to use dwn.
