Void... any specs are fine for Void.

I can mount an RJ-45 connector to a cat5 cable in less than 25 seconds.
I don't have time to play video games π.
Geeks are usually the first ones that populate any kind of a social network.
But, I would have to agree that I don't think that the fediverse will become anything more than what it is now - a place for geeks to exchange info and their Linux desktop setups.
This is mostly generalized, but I seriously doubt other communities will get popular on Lemmy, like let's say DIY audio or something similar. They have a good thing going on reddit, free hosting, no one cares who actually pays the electricity bills, the platform is free (as in beer)... not everyone cares about freedom as much as people on the fediverse do π€·. I'm sorry, but that's just how things are.
On the other hand, Lemmy is a perfect place to share info and data that might be illegal in some countries (piracy and sharing pr0n vids that are sold on other sites), so i can see niche things like these thriving here... set up your server at home or in China/Russia, set up a reverse proxy... pratically, you're off the grid regarding copyright claims.
In that case, that's the world every time something shitty happens, not just now... and not everyone in the world, only the ones that actually have more than a few brain cells doing actual work.
Their search used to be amazing, now itβs shit.
Yeah, have to agree on that. Especially if I'm looking for something niche. It used to be the opposite, you went to google if you were looking for something hard to find.
Bing seems to be a lot better for my search needs right now. Duckduckgo is just... a mess if you ask me. No relevance to results whatsoever, I usually find what I was looking for in the 10th link or so... or not at all. After 10, 15 results, duckduckgo just returns irrelevant results.
The image search in Google has gotten better though, so I still use that.
Context?
Ah, just what I was looking for, thanks π.
Ah, that's why I search before I download anything π€£. Plus, I got a good memeory (only regarding songs for some reason π€ π), so I rarely end up with dups.
And I do tag them after I download them... well, retag them, they've already been tagged by whoever π.
Will have to look into this, I haven't really optimized around the way I stream my media.
Me too π.
Yeah, that must be it... hell, you never know with women π€·.
