Important thing to keep in mind is when to give up. If after showing them the facts of Taiwanese opinions on independence, history of colonialism, fascism, and oppression they still disagree, you stop trying and do better things with your time. You have limited time and energy to agitate people, always go for the easiest targets to maximize your results

It's time to start lying on your resume. I literally can't code better than your average highschool graduate but I know enough about the industry and job to lie my ass off and I study a lot to pass these leetcode, system design, and behavioral interview questions. I work on some super complex financial systems I can't understand at all but hey, I'm still employed for now until they decide to PIP me

DM me for advice if you're open

It's so funny too because Biden's Inflation Reduction Act and ofc the bombing of Nordstream both destroyed so much of Europe's green energy manufacturing for America's gain

It's expensive as balls but I buy leftover addy from a few kids living in the college dorms across the street from my place lmao

Missing the forest for the trees imo

Younger people are increasingly looking to past decades for cultural inspiration. From fashion to music mediums like vinyls and cassettes. I think it's because they're by far the most hopeless generation so far, and they can't really envision any happy future or really, any future at all with global warming, decreasing living standards, technological control, etc

So they look back at the good old days before any of this was a concern to Westerners. Even their online aesthetics only come as far as the early early internet days before everything was so hypercommodified by companies and it was mostly just people fucking around making things they enjoyed with no profit incentive in mind

if there's a legal requirement to delete the data, I'd try to take advantage of that

There's like no countries with strong enough data laws that would guarantee full deletion

Afaik in the app there isn't. I think the actual photo data bytes do get deleted but some other crap generated from the ML models ran on them stay. Databases are also constantly replicated and snapshotted multiple times for all Google services and I have no idea how long those last either

sounds like there was a missing check to make sure it only gets "read" if you specifically reply to the comment
