completely changed the ending, although I heard a rumour that the original ending will be on the home release. So maybe this movie will have an alternate ending as well. The change after following the book pretty well up til that point made it feel like a weird alternate reality all of a sudden. Very jarring. Not that I think the changes were bad, but changed how I was experiencing the movie.
Probably because older phones are in maintance mode for the OS. Adding new features always carries some complexity and testing all models takes time. Limit the models to test to only the more recent ones and you save money.
That said, it would be so nice to have a more open system where I can decide that if that goes on my phone myself.

This is a really neat and well written list of games. It's so interesting how different these games were from the console games at the time. So many live acted sequences with pre rendered backgrounds. The only game I knew of beforehand was Phantasmagoria, but Dark Seed was ringing a bell. Perhaps a friend had that one. I might have to try some of these games.
