No different than from the internal drive as far as I can tell. I've never had any of those issues. It's a Samsung Pro.

Went for a bike ride (infosec.pub)
 

I haven't been riding much since about 2011 due to various issues with my bike pissing me off, and also being too heavy for it. I've lost the weight and finally got everything working again, with a little help from DT Recumbents in Rothwell (awesome work, James), and took it out for a ride to Nudgee Beach today. I'm a bit sore after a 30km return ride, but I'm happy, and looking forward to riding it to work in the future.

That said, I have no idea how old the satellite photos are, but the scale of the destruction of Gaza is pretty mind-blowing and horrifying.
