My kids love it, and are getting old enough to appreciate some of the more adult humour. So no, it's absolutely not "of its time". Definitely an unpopular opinion there to be sure!
And yet the boomers on Facebook still argue that 'theres no proof' and 'the earth has always had natural cycles'. Actually, it's not just the boomers and that's frankly disturbing
The more I listen to Asymmetry the more it grows on me. I think the reason I still prefer SA though is largely due to the production, rather than the songs themselves. SA is just more smooth and easier to listen to. It's like Asymmetry has all these jagged edges that just makes it harder to consume aurally for me...
That said, 'We Are' remains my favourite Vool song by a long way.
