Heartbreaking for them

Unfortunately I have no sympathy for these fools

I don't know why but I really don't like tuna steak, but tuna sushi I'm fine with. Maybe I just haven't had a good tuna steak

Tortoises can get pretty heavy, I've heard of 200lbs before. I'm sure they can get even heavier depending on species

Also yea I've never really seen someone hold a tortoise like this, usually they grab the bottom kinda like lifting a box.

Yea you can link from any site, and your browser/app will grab it from whatever is hosting the image, whether it's a different site, or on your lemmy instance.

Just remember if the links die (someone deleted the image or that site is down) the image won't be able to be displayed

Some states have programs, I know Cali has a program for ebikes https://www.ebikeincentives.org/

Though I will admit most of Cali is not bikeable (at least socal imo, norcal is better)

Here's a list from what I could find online on it. https://tstebike.com/blogs/new/unlock-savings-2025-u-s-state-e-bike-tax-credits-and-rebates

Ice melts and dilutes your drink

Also it's a pain to make space for the ice tray

I'd rather just leave my drink in the fridge and come back to it after

The format is ![](link) to add an image

You can also click the bottom portrait icon on the ui for this but it'll upload to the lemmy instance you are on, which might have restriction on size.

Thumbnail should take the first image linked in this format if I remember

Yup, my point is that red states gdp is being propped up by blue cities. The argument that red states generate equivalent gdp conveniently ignores that the counties in the state that do vote red don't actually generate that much gdp. Cities are generally blue because the very nature of city life leans blue, and if you take these blue cities out of the equation you'd end up with a fraction of the supposed gdp of a red state.

And honestly a lot of these supposedly red states would crumble if gerrymandering didn't exist, but that's a separate point.

Let's look at Texas voting by county https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_United_States_presidential_election_in_Texas

Now let's look at the proportion of gdp by county https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Texas_counties_by_GDP_2021.png

Hmm I wonder where most of the money in red states comes from...
