Total Annihilation has an incredible mod scene.

I actually prefer some of the revolutionary aesthetic and culture of our actual existing cyberpunk dystopia as compared to the very specific punk inspired aesthetic of 80s and 90s cyberpunk.

What a savvy political triangulation! I'm sure many moderate conservatives will realize that Biden is meeting them in the middle, and Vote Democrat this November! i-voted

I'm mainly voting to keep the crazies out of school boards. Those races can get scary close, and they don't have party affiliations listed on the ballots, so it's important for me to actualy talk to my neighbors and tell them which specific people to vote for.

Some of my state an national level Dem reps are decent, and I'll vote for them. The rest are... typical Dems, which means pro-genocide scratched liberals.

Most of this year's college freshman were born after the Xbox 360 was released.

Zelda and MGS V are super fun

Cyberpunk is kinda objectively bad, but I enjoyed it anyhow

Haven't played the rest of them

Ross's face when every Republican talking head is calling presidential nominee Joe Manchin is a communist shocked-pikachu

Warwickshire Police spotted Bray on June 8 via CCTV walking down the street with something in his hand.

They are lterally using their panopticon to find someone who was behaving in a slightly divergent way in public and not bothering anyone at all.

Not planning on buying anything this year, I have enough games to last a lifetime TBH

I have no idea what this game is, but it looks very 2009 brown

I want to host some LAN parties this winter, and am looking for some Free Software Games that would be a fun time. We already play some Counterstrike and StarCraft 2, but I want to expand into some actual Free games. Windows compatibility is a must, MacOS compatibility is desirable!

The two on my radar are:

  • Hedgewars, which seems like a strong candidate. We played a ton of Worms 2 in the 90s
  • 0 A.D., since we're already fans of RTS games.

But I know there must be some wacky ones out there which would be suitable for 30 minutes of pick up play.

The 2040 plan is mainly an ending of single-family zoning. Anecdotally, I've seen a lot more apartments going up around the Twin Cities in the last few years. The Frey regime are neoliberal ghouls, and this is a classic YIMBY approach to tackling housing shortages. The opponents of this plan are somehow even worse, an astroturfed army of KKKarens.

Choice quote: "Residents of color already face significant barriers to home ownership, which would have been exacerbated under the plan as a result of reduced access to and availability of single family properties," said activist Nekima Levy Armstrong, a member of the plaintiffs' legal team, in a statement calling Tuesday's ruling a "major victory."

What are the Hexbear thoughts on this whole situation?
