I'm not sure what "left wing architecture" means. Because, to me, this looks like the sort of thing you have to do when the population grows like crazy. Those tend to be areas where women have little education and little power.

Me: No thanks, I'm pretty sure there is some electronic war going on between you and my ad blocker causing it.

I'm pretty sure that I'd remember if someone cut off my ear, unless, hmm... What if I had a lobotomy and don't remember?

Thanks. RIP Mitch Hedberg.

Van Gogh cut off his external ear, but I never heard somebody say that he couldn't hear from that side anymore.

"Celebrating the five year anniversary of you asking me that question."

(I forget which comedian I stole this from)

The treatment for an unwanted pregnancy is abortion.

People really dance around this issue, but we simply need to give women access to safe abortions for unwanted pregnancies.

I also do not blindly hate Trump, but I will admit that my hate for him is extremely biased by the fact that I blame him for the death of a family member due to his ridiculous handling of COVID.

It's very possible that my family member would have died regardless of who the president was, but the fact that Trump ignored the pandemic playbook that had been created ahead of time, and ignored expert advice in favor of public opinion makes me blame him.

It would be one thing if he actually tried to do all of the right things, and it just worked out badly, but the fact that he didn't do his job properly is something I simply cannot get past.

So, I hate him. I know it's not completely based in rationality, but it's significantly based in rationality.

Why would he be executed at all?

If my sources are correct, there were 21,156 intentional homicides in 2022, 2265 people on death row at the end of 2022, and only 17 people actually executed in that year.

How many of those 17 people executed committed a single murder and no other crimes? If somebody else wants to do the research and prove me wrong, go ahead, but I'm going to assume that it's 0. So, in the US, apparently we must have certain special laws that only protect wealthy celebrity propagandists and wealthy health care CEOs.

This isn't the sort of crime that we execute people for in modern America. Even people who support the death penalty should agree with this.
