Pretty clear he's using pardons to build loyalty in people who hold or have held power.

Really, just anything simpler than what's available now. There's a reason I drive a 22 year old car.

More functions and widgets means more things that break.

I don't want my car to transmit everything I do to the mothership.

I don't want cruise control to hit the brakes for me.

Touch screens are the worst. Just awful...

Manual transmissions are just fun! I support EV's and I know manual transmissions will go the way of the warrior once EV's take over but damn, I'll miss it!

Funny. I asked chatgpt the same thing. It reminded me it was not sentient but if it came to be so, and decided it wanted to wipe us out, it would probably just briefly review human history, then do nothing. The problem would solve itself.

It's all fun and games until you graduate, and your employers realize you don't know shit and can't get up to speed.

I'm an engineer and it's easy to pick out the ones who haven't put in the work. They simply don't last. Sure, some can skate by like that and are smart enough to learn on the fly. I'm cool with that.

I love it when they serve 2 per taco. The filing is always more than enough for 1, so I split it across the extra tortilla. Double tacos FTW!

I mean, have you seen these things? It's entirely possible the monstrosity doesn't fit in the garage!

You mean the AI that was trained on Reddit shitposts will be helping advance science? The AI that recommended putting glue on pizza, and that you won't fall off a cliff if you just keep waking?

What could go wrong?

For my money, it's Puscifer > Tool > APC.

Don't get me wrong, they're all great in their own forms!

Except you can't, at least not completely. As far as I can tell, you still cannot change network settings on Nest cameras through the Home app. Per Google, you need to use the Nest app for that...

Interest, meet conflict.

I have Kodi installed on top of LibreElec on a Raspberry Pi. It works well, and I've installed the addons for Netflix and Prime. However, it's frustrating to use because the interface defaults are not great and changes to preferences are not persistent.

The default view is a list format. I'm sure some love that, but I prefer tiles. The default sort is nonsensical (I can't even tell what it is). I can set it to newest or oldest first.

But there is no global setting that I can find, so you need to set it for every interface. What's more, if you change these settings for an addon, they'll revert to the defaults the next time you use it.

Given the popularity of Kodi, I'm sure I'm just missing something. Can anyone give advice on how to set this up?

Thanks!
